Forge Resources Corp. startet größte Diamantbohrkampagne im Yukon

Introduction

Forge Resources Corp. (CSE: FRG) announced on June 4, 2026, the initiation of its largest diamond drilling program to date in the Dawson Range Gold Belt in Yukon. This initiative marks a significant step in the company’s development, as the program builds on the successes of previous campaigns and focuses on geophysical anomalies that promise promising gold and copper mineralizations.

Details of the Drilling Program

The current drilling program encompasses approximately 2,500 meters and has already commenced. The first drillings are taking place in the Payoff Zone, where a newly discovered geophysical anomaly is being targeted. This anomaly is particularly interesting, as previous drillings nearby, such as drill hole ALT-25-012, yielded a gold content of 1.31 g/t over a thickness of 78 meters.

Furthermore, the program will also explore new geophysical targets in the Payoff, Severance, and Commission zones. These zones remain untouched and could hold great potential for the discovery of gold- and copper-bearing porphyries. Previous peripheral drillings have already delivered promising grades, including 0.18 g/t gold and 0.046% copper over 76.86 meters in the Commission Zone.

Expansion of Mineralization

The company plans step-out drillings in the Payoff and Alimony zones to expand the extent of the already identified gold mineralization. In the Payoff Zone, the focus will be on geochemical soil anomalies that exhibit high grades of gold and other elements. In the Alimony Zone, the mineralization from drill hole ALT-25-013 will be further investigated, which showed a section with 1.41 g/t gold.

PJ Murphy, CEO of Forge Resources, expressed optimism about the progress of the Alotta project: „The 2026 drilling program represents a critical advancement, and we are confident that we will make significant discoveries.“ This determination reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing shareholder value through innovative exploration strategies.

Geophysical Anomalies and Potential

The Payoff Zone is particularly noteworthy as it features a 4.5 by 1.7 kilometer gold-copper-molybdenum anomaly, which yielded up to 8.73 g/t gold in rock samples. These geophysical characteristics are typical of porphyry systems and provide promising clues for future finds.

In the Severance Zone, step-out drillings are planned to confirm the promising results of drill hole ALT-25-007, which exhibited significant gold and copper grades. The Commission Zone will also be further investigated to evaluate the potential of the mineralization identified there.

Conclusion

The current diamond drilling campaign by Forge Resources Corp. in Yukon is a strategic step to advance the company’s growth and innovation capabilities. Given the high grades identified in previous drillings and the promising geophysical anomalies, the Alotta project could hold the potential for significant discoveries. Investors should keep an eye on developments, as positive results could not only enhance shareholder value but also strengthen the company’s competitiveness in the market.
