The majority of EU states are backing the idea of return centers, as highlighted by a letter from Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. 19 of the 27 member countries signed this letter during the EU summit, requesting financial support from the EU Commission.
